Fiber Arts

Crafted with intention, stitch by stitch

From hand-knit sweaters to experimental yarn dying, this is where I explore the meditative practice of creating with fiber. Each project is an exercise in patience, precision, and the joy of making something beautiful with my hands.

The Meditative Craft

There's something deeply satisfying about taking raw materials — yarn, fiber, dye — and transforming them into something both functional and beautiful. Fiber arts require the same attention to detail that I bring to my data work: understanding the structure, following (or breaking) patterns with intention, and building something reliable stitch by stitch.

Whether I'm knitting a complex cable pattern, experimenting with my knitting machine, crocheting amigurumi, or dyeing yarn with natural indigo, each project teaches patience and rewards persistence.
